
Hay Fever Tonic



Achooooo…. most of us can’t wait for the warmer weather, the flowers to bloom and the smell of freshly cut grass, but for some of us it comes with a price! If you suffer from hay fever this may be the tonic for you. Introducing Tom, also known as @the.mental.health.herbalist – he is a genius in his field of herbal medicine and gives such fantastic home remedies for so many ailments. Today he joined me to make a sneezing good concoction!

Cooks in 15 Minutes
Ingredients
- A hand full of fresh or dried nettles (or a tea bag)
- A tablespoon of chamomile flowers (or a tea bag)
- Juice of half a lemon
- A dash of apple cider vinegar (10 ml)
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- A tea spoon of local honey to taste
Method
- Place ingredients into a tea pot or coffee plunger and add 300 ml of boiling water
- Leave for 15 minutes to infuse
- Enjoy!
