Ingredients

Cookie
• 120g oats
• 60g ground almond
• 3 tbsp. maple syrup
• 3 tbsp. coconut oil (then melt)

Chocolate Balls
• 40g ground almond
• 1 tbsp. cacao powder
• 1 tbsp. maple syrup
• 1 tbsp. coconut oil (then melt)

Decoration
• 40g dark chocolate melted
• 1 square white chocolate melted

Method

Preheat the oven to 185°C.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl add all the ingredients for the cookie base and mix into a dough.
Prepare a flat baking tray with some parchment paper.
Taking 8 sections of the dough roll into balls and press down into a cookie shape. Using your finger make a well in the centre of each cookie roughly 1.5 cm across and .75 cm deep.
In a small bowl combine the chocolate ball ingredients and mix into a dough. Using your hands make 8 small balls and insert these into the cookie base.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Let cool fully before drizzling over the dark chocolate to make spider legs (4 on each side of the cookies).
Place 2 small blobs on the chocolate balls using the white chocolate to make eyes.
Enjoy!
