HIKE LIFE SCHEDULE 2019

Hello hike life crew, happy New Year. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and enjoyed some time off to reset for 2019. I have finally put a schedule together for the upcoming Hike Lifes, apologies it’s taken so long but planning around my schedule can be difficult because everything is so last minute in my industry however these dates are set in stone and secured for hiking only. I have (below) the dates for Jan – May and will schedule June- Dec closer to that time. I may add in more hikes along the way, if so, I will update this page. All individual hikes will have their own separate post re; meeting points, duration, difficulty, recommended clothing ,snacks and more. I hope you guys are as excited as I am to meet up, get some fresh air and take on some new and some of my old favourite hikes. FAQ

Is there a cost to attend? No. These are free to encourage people to get out in nature, ,meet new people and discover new trails.

Can I come alone? Yes of course, loads of people come solo. The whole point of these hikes is to have a group when you want to get out walking but none of your friends will go with you or perhaps you’ve just moved here and you want to meet people with similar interests.

Do I need to sign up? No, however for Carrauntoohill I will have a sign up page ( opening 6 weeks prior to hike).

How will I know where to meet the group? I will always post a meeting point prior to the hike with a specific time. You can’t miss the group ( I usually give 5 minutes grace before we set off)

Do I have to be fit? This depends on the hike, each hike will have it’s own separate post which will give a guide on the difficulty level. All hikes so far have been a manageable pace.

Can Kids come? Of course, just ensure the walk is suitable for their ability as some may be strenuous.

Do I need hiking boots? This also depends on the walk, most often you do not and so far they have not been necessary, however keep an eye on each hike update for more on this.

Can I bring my dog? I encourage you to bring friends for Wilko ( my dog) however there is one walk I’m planning during the summer which does not permit dogs but I will mention that clearly when it comes around.

June- December coming soon.
