This recipe is delicious, it has to be my new favourite way to eat the STRONG ROOTS Cauliflower Hash Browns. They are already so tasty but this recipe brings them to the next level. It’s such a simple way to change up these hash browns into an unbelievable “cauli wing” style sharing plate.
Full recipe below (ps. the smokey BBQ sauce also goes great with the STRONG ROOTS Kale & Quinoa Burgers). This has definitely been my best recipe in collaboration with the guys over at STRONG ROOTS, I hope you enjoy it as much as me!

Serves 3-5

Cooks in 25 Minutes


2 tbsp. tomato puree
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground chilli
2 tbsp. blackstrap molasses
1 tbsp. Worchester sauce
2 tbsp. Olive oil

1 x pack STRONG ROOTS Cauliflower Hash Browns (uncooked)


Mix the BBQ sauce in a small bowl until the oil and the rest of the ingredients are fully combined.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Tip the Cauliflower Hash Browns (uncooked) into a medium sized mixing bowl and pour over the BBQ
sauce, it’s time to get a bit sticky and use your hands to rub the sauce into the hash browns.
Place them flat on a tray ensuring one even layer to cook.
Bake FOR 15-17 MINUTES until crispy.
Let cool on the tray for a few minutes before lifting onto a late and dunking in something
like coconut yoghurt and guac!
