Snacks on the go that are quicker to whip up then a cup of tea. I am often asked what I snack on, especially when I don’t have time to make granola bars or just want something to satisfy my need to nibble! So here are my 3 sweet snacks I adore!
PROTEIN GREEK YOGURT
- 1 small carton greek yogurt
- 1 scoop whey protein
Try opt for a real greek yogurt like fage, which is available now in Dunnes Stores and Donnybrook Fair.
Mix this delicious protein packed treat with a scoop of vanilla/choc/strawberry whey protein, It is just like a dessert yet very filling and guilt free.
SLICED APPLE & ALMOND
- 1 Apple-*my choice-pink lady
- 2 tbsp Nut butter- almond/peanut/cashew etc
This has to be my favourite quick snack , I do love my almond butter but paired with a sliced pink lady the two are the perfect match.
