Coconut Brownies

What makes a brownie irresistible? a fudgy inside with a crisp edge. I made this recipe in collaboration with innocent using their coconut dairy free. The coconut dairy free is so creamy and good with only 5 ingredients & no additives. Check out the recipe below and natural born feeder instagram for a step by step video.

Ingredients

200g dark chocolate
3 tbsp coconut oil at room temp
5 tbsp maple syrup
5 tbsp milled flaxseed
100g coconut flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
200ml innocent coconut dairy free

Method

Preheat oven to 180â€ĒC

Start by melting then chocolate using whatever method you prefer, add the coconut oil into the melted chocolate and stir until the coconut melts and the chocolate is smooth.
Next, pour in the maple and combine.
Tip in the flaxseed, coconut flour and baking agents and stir, it will be a dry batter.
Next, add the coconut dairy free making sure the coconut is slightly warm and not directly from the fridge so the chocolate or coconut oil won’t harden.
You can heat it up a little before adding to a lukewarm temp.
Using a whisk or fork, mix the batter into a smooth thick creamy consistency.
Pour into a lined brownie tin (6” x 6”) and bake for 30 minutes.
Leave to cool fully for 20 minutes before lifting from the tin and slicing.
